Shipping Policy
State laws restrict or prevent shipping wine directly to consumers in some states. We are only able to ship wine purchased over the internet to the states listed in the table below. Deliveries can only be made to physical addresses. We cannot ship to Post Office boxes or APR/FPO addresses. Some states restrict the amount a consumer can have shipped from a winery. The information below is a summary of the quantities we can ship.

Shipping rates are determined by the number of bottles purchased and also vary by location and service selected.
We provide the following shipping options:
- Second day air and overnight shipping - Monday through Thursday
- Ground shipping - Monday through Wednesday (subject to weather restrictions)
During special promotions, please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be charged and processed, plus the estimated shipping timeframe for the shipping method you have selected. HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST AND WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We ship wine Monday through Thursday using the shipping method that you select for your order. To ensure extreme weather conditions or temperature variances do not impact the quality of your wine, orders will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday for Ground and Second Day Air shipping (when available) and Monday through Thursday for overnight shipping. Orders must be placed by 7am PST to be shipped on the same day.
During special promotions, please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be charged and processed, plus the estimated shipping timeframe for the shipping method you have selected. We are unable to hold shipments during promotions.
Shipping rates are determined by the number of bottles purchased and also vary by location and service selected.
Important: Your wine shipment must be signed for by someone who is at least 21 years of age. UPS is not allowed to leave wine shipments on a doorstep.
Northstar takes very seriously its commitments to sell our products to adults in a responsible manner and to prevent under-age access. To finalize your shipment, additional information may be needed for our comprehensive age verification process.
CAN I EXPEDITE SHIPPING?
Expedited shipping options are available for an additional charge. You will be presented with the option to select from available shipping options upon checkout.
DO YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes, General Delivery, or APO/FPO.
When shipping wine, we strongly recommend that you use a business address if possible, as someone 21 or older must be available to sign for the shipment.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Orders placed by 9am PST on Monday through Wednesday will ship the same day. Orders placed after 9am will ship the next applicable shipping day.
During special promotions, please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be charged and processed, plus the estimated shipping timeframe for the shipping method you have selected. A total of three delivery attempts will be made before the shipment is returned to our facility. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
All online orders must be paid by credit card. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard or Discover.
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I HAVE TROUBLE ORDERING?
If you are having trouble ordering wine from the Northstar Winery online store, please email orders@northstarwinery.com or call us at 1-800-301-0773. Your email or voicemail will be responded to within 24 hours during the week and 48 hours over the weekend by your Concierge Team.
Northstar Winery typically offers Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Expedited Next Day Delivery services. However, during extreme weather conditions or temperature variances, we want to ensure that the quality of your wine is not impacted. Because of this, we do not offer Ground shipping during such weather conditions.
We understand changes may happen. Please review and confirm all shipping details before placing your order. Changes requested to shipping orders after order placement are not guaranteed and are subject to additional fees.
Please contact us regarding any of our products you deem damaged, flawed, or otherwise unsatisfactory. We will work with you directly to find a satisfactory solution as allowed by law. We may request that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle along with any shipping materials and a copy of the purchase receipt. Any effort by us to refund, replace, or remediate any issues with one of our products is in no way an admission of guilt or wrongdoing.
